Telescope/Microscope Mount   (LT-2103)

This mount is used to investigate the principles of lenses and their magnification, telescopes and compound microscopes.
An angle sections metal bar 750 x 25 x 25 mm with a support rod 150 x 10 mm diameter for mounting in an ordinary laboratory stand and boss. Three spring lens holders are provided, one for 50 mm and two for 25 mm lenses, mounted on spring clips, to permit movement along the bar for focusing.

Model of Astronomical Telescope   (LT-2104)

A simple model to show the principles of the astronomical telescope, which produces an inverted image. Comprising a plano-convex lens 38 mm dia x 150 mm focal length, mounted in a tube 400 x 50 mm dia, and a double convex lens 50 mm dia 500 mm focal length, mounted in a tube 400 x 55 mm dia approx. The small tube is located in the large tube by means of foam plastic rings, for effective sliding.

Made of two blocks of translucent material with dimensions 25 x 20 x 12.5 mm, separated by a sheet of opaque material. Mounted on a base, with window for viewing. Fitted on a stem length 75 mm, on stand. When two sides of the blocks are exposed to uneven illumination, the block shows difference in color.

This is for the measurement of wave length of light by reflected system. It consists of a frame 60 x 60 x 50 mm high with a glass plate mounted at an angle of 45 to reflect the light downwards on to a plano-convex lens 50 mm diameter x 100 mm focus, which rests on a plane glass plate placed on the base of the box. Supplied complete with lens.
