Rheostat

Rheostat   (EE - 515)

Single tube grooved type with non breakable enameled pipe but These are made with special non breakable vitreous enameled steel tubes. The winding is locked into place with ceramic cement. The tube is carried upon robust enameled die-cast end stands and the heavy duty sliding contact is of the multi leaf phosphor bronze type. nickel plated for corrosion resistance 4 mm scoket terminals are fitted allowing for rheostat or potentiometer connection.

Kohlrauch Conductivity Bridge

Kohlrauch Conductivity Bridge   (EE - 519)

This instrument is designed for the direct measurement of resistance of electrolytes etc. The slide wire is circular type with dial calibrated from 0 to 10 ohms. There are six multipliers of 0.1, 1, 10, 100, 1000 and 10000 ohms thus giving a total range of 0.01 to 1,00,000 ohms. The bridge is suitable for use on a dry battery. Instead of galvanometer sensitive telephone receiver or headphone can be used. The position of the slider is adjusted to the position of minimum sound in the headphone. The coils are of covered Eureka wire and properly aged. All coils are calibrated on imported testing bridge. Accuracy of coils + 0.1%.

Student Kelvin Bridge   (EE - 522)

Improved Welch Pattern Direct reading. Specially suited for the measurement and checking of low resistance coils of thick rods and dynamos. All components nearly arranged and internal connections easily traceable in conjunction with the enclosed double ratio box and a standard decade dial gives a range of measurement 0.000005-0.55 ohms. All coils are calibrated on imported testing bridge

Potentiometer - Cum Kelvin Bridge   (EE - 523)

It is an improvement over standard potentiometer. A press button type sliding jockey moves along the graduated scale on a metallic rod. The dial has fourteen resistance coils connected in series. Each coils having its resistance equal to the resistance stretched wire. When connected with a Double Ratio Box the unit works a Kelvin Bridge. A tapping key is provided in the Galvano-meter circut, without double ration box. ohms. All coils are calibrated on imported testing bridge

Precision Kelvin Bridge   (EE - 525)

The bridge is capable of measuring resistance from 10 to 1 ohm. 10 coils, of 0.1 ohm are arranged on a rotary dial. A slide wire reads resistance in steps of 0.001 ohm. The bridge is provided with a multiple of 0.1, thus enabling he bridge to be used for measurement up to 0.0001 ohm. Separate current and potential terminals are provided. Coils are of double Eureka wire and are all properly aged. All coils are calibrated on imported testing bridge. Accuracy of adjustment is 0.1%.

This Kelvin Bridge has been designed for use of cable and wire manufactures whose products are called upon to meet very close specification in resistance per unit length.
